From Dorm Room Dreams to a Cult-Favorite Brand
Founded in 2018 by Jhalesa Seymour, Salt XO was born out of necessity. At the time, Seymour was a college student frustrated by the lack of feminine hygiene products that actually supported women’s health. With just $67 and a passion to create better solutions, she started handcrafting natural soaps in her kitchen — and never looked back.
What began as a personal pursuit quickly grew into a movement, as word spread about the brand’s transparency, effectiveness, and purpose-driven mission.
